Managing pain is a key component of the healing process. Our specialists utilize comprehensive pain management techniques to help individuals regain comfort and functionality, allowing them to return to daily activities with confidence, without depending on chronic narcotic pain pill use.
We treat both acute and chronic conditions, with a focus on identifying the source of pain and delivering a long-term solution. Our team is here to provide you with the care you need, whether your pain is the result of an injury, overuse, or you’re unsure of its source.
CRPS is a rare chronic pain condition that often affects an extremity such as an arm, leg, or hand. It is typically triggered by surgery or an injury. Symptoms of this condition typically include persistent pain, swelling, changes in the colour and temperature of skin, and sensitivity to touch.
Pain management for CRPS will vary from person to person. To determine the best course of action, we first asses and conduct testing to determine the root cause and severity of the condition. CPRS can be emotionally and physically draining, but we are here to help you get back to living pain-free again.
Radiculopathy, also known as a pinched nerve, occurs when a nerve root in the spine is compressed or irritated. This can occur due to a herniated disc, spinal degeneration, general spinal injuries, and more. It can occur in multiple areas throughout the spine. Symptoms typically include pain, numbness, tingling, and/or weakness that radiates from the spine into the extremities.
We use diagnostic imaging and physical assessment to determine the source of nerve compression. Treatment will vary depending on the severity of the injury. Typically, we will first recommend medications and physical therapy. However, if symptoms persist or worsen, we also offer surgical options.
A herniated disc happens when the soft inner material of a spinal disc protrudes through the outer layer. This can irritate and put pressure on nearby nerves. This can result in pain, numbness, and/or weakness in the neck, back, or extremities, depending on the location of the affected disc.
In terms of treatment, we first assess the severity and location of the herniation to customize treatment accordingly. In many cases, non-surgical approaches such as medication for short-term pain management, epidural steroid injections, and physical therapy are effective. If needed, we offer surgical options to relieve nerve pressure and restore function.
Neck pain can arise from muscle strain, nerve compression, or spinal conditions such as arthritis or stenosis. Symptoms may include stiffness, headaches, and pain that radiates into the shoulders or arms.
Neck pain is a common issue that can happen for a variety of reasons. Our approach focuses on identifying the cause of the pain and using appropriate treatment to reduce inflammation and improve range of motion. Our goal is to develop a personalized treatment plan that will help you achieve long-term pain relief.
Back pain is one of the most common reasons individuals seek care. There are many reasons why someone might experience back pain, including muscle strain, disc injury, spinal instability, or degenerative conditions.
We offer comprehensive testing and treatment options to get to the root cause of your pain and provide you with the care you need for long-term relief. Treatment will depend on the severity of your injury and diagnosis. We offer same-day appointments to help you get the help you need as soon as possible.

We provide 24-hour access to a point of contact for any concerns you may have. You will be given the necessary contact details following your treatment.
Non-surgical treatment options may include rest, medications (such as analgesics and antibiotics), injections, and physical or occupational therapy. Your doctor will discuss the most appropriate options based on your specific condition.
It is normal to experience some bleeding following surgery. Keep your bandage clean and dry, and DO NOT remove it until instructed by our surgeon or until your follow-up visit. You may also experience numbness and tingling in your fingers or hand as the anesthesia wears off (especially with local anesthesia or blocks).
For pain management, medication is most effective when taken before severe pain sets in, so it’s important not to wait until the pain becomes intense to take it.
Achieving full range of motion, strength, and flexibility after surgery typically takes time. Pre-operative exercise, education, and post-operative physical therapy programs are key to ensuring you’re fully prepared for surgery and to maximize your recovery afterward.
If you experience unexpected symptoms, such as increased pain, swelling, or signs of infection, contact our office immediately. We are available to offer guidance or address any concerns to ensure a smooth recovery process.
